Denysis M Rodriguez served as president for 2017-2018 as well  2015-2016 and 2016-2017. Denysis also currently serves as State Director for FAMP of Florida. She has been an active member of the Broward Chapter for over 6 years, as well as a previous member of the Miami Chapter.

With over 30 year experience in the mortgage industry currently working with MGIC as Account Manager for the Private Mortgage Insurance business.

Denysis brings her many years of experience in the wholesale, correspondent and retail channels as well as her participation in other local chapters where she volunteers. She is an innovative and pro-active mortgage professional and lends her knowledge to her clients as well as chapter members that seek her expertise.

As a board member Denysis has contributed to the membership, trade show, and by-laws committees for the local as well as state chapter.

Mike Pearson – I have been supporting mortgage professionals in Broward and Palm Beach County for almost 20 years.  I have worked in numerous operations and sales positions, currently I am the Senior Vice President of Wholesale business.

I am a big believer in giving back; the mortgage professionals in this area have supported me my entire career, I am honored to return the favor and do all I can to help support the mortgage broker and bankers in our community!

As the Vice-President of the FAMP Broward-Gold Coast Chapter, I bring over three decades of rich experience in the mortgage industry to my role. My career journey has been characterized by a deep commitment to excellence and service, with the past 14 years dedicated to empowering mortgage brokers in their crucial work. In this capacity, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an Account Executive, a role that has allowed me to support our industry’s professionals in navigating the complexities of the mortgage landscape to better serve their clients.

Currently, I am proud to be associated with Kind Lending, where our collective mission is to deliver lending solutions that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients and partners. My philosophy revolves around building strong, supportive relationships in the professional sphere, believing that the success of our industry is rooted in collaboration and mutual support.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am passionate about giving back to my community, particularly through coaching youth sports. This avenue provides me with a unique opportunity to mentor the next generation, teaching them valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. My involvement in youth sports has been an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing me to make a positive impact outside the professional realm.

Chapter Vice President – Pac/Govt Affairs Committee

Carol J. Martin is currently a licensed loan originator for Southland Mortgage, Inc.; a mortgage lender. Carol has enjoyed almost twenty five years in the mortgage industry where she began her career in the credit segment of our industry working with mortgage brokers, bankers and lenders for TransUnion/MAF Mortgage Services. Much of her time was devoted training first time home buyers and mortgage industry professionals in the intricacies of credit and credit scoring. As a member of FAMB/FAMP since 1996 in both the Broward and Miami Dade chapter; Carol has held every position on the local Board of Directors as well as chaired most every committee. Over her many years in the association, she has received numerous honors among those are Affiliate of the Year, Broker of the Year and the Presidents Award for Outstanding Service “above and beyond” for our chapter. As a Past President, she continues to be active and attend/support all chapter activities as well as state events. Currently serving as vice president and as a state director.
